A.C.T. RADIO
Based on the 900 MHz DNT90 and the PIC16 F886 microprocessor chip, this radio provides exceptional range and performance. Point to point and multi-point networks are supported, as well as peer-to-peer and store-and-forward repeating. The DNT90 works on Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology that ensures maximum resistance to multipath fading and robustness in the presence of interfering signals. The radio is configurable to adapt to particular needs in the field.
For example:
- Close and hold the relay output as long as the alarm condition exists (default)
- Close the relay output for a few seconds and release even if the alarm condition still exists

A Selectable, No Communication (No Comm.) Feature (default active):
After a loss of communication the ‘No Comm’ red LED starts flashing on the receiver for 30 seconds (recognition time). If communication is not re-established, all of the outputs will close for 3 seconds and open again and the ‘No Comm’ red LED will turn ON solid. Once communication is re-established, the ‘No Comm’ red LED turns off and the radio re-assumes normal operation.
Features & Benefits:
- Frequency: 900 MHz
- Power voltage: 10V to 14V
- Power consumption (receiver): 16 mA Stand By, 60 mA Alarm (all channels)
- Power consumption (transmitter): 24 mA Stand By, 29 mA Alarm (all channels)
- Antenna connection: RP-SMA
- Overall dimensions: 6.25″ x 3.56″ x 1.5″, NEMA 4 rated
- Number of channels: 4
- Relay outputs: Configurable to close momentarily when programmable recognition time is surpassed. With additional programming, the radio board can function as a timer board customized for your particular needs.
Transmitter:
- Green LED (blinking): Power ON and running
- Red LED (blinking): Low battery voltage @ 10.5V or below
Receiver:
- Green LED (blinking): Power and running
- Red LED (blinking): ‘No Comm’ situation for less than 30 seconds
- Red LED (solid): ‘No Comm’ situation for more than 30 seconds and the relay output has been closed for 3 seconds (if ‘No Comm’ output was selected). When communication is regained, the red LED turns off and the radios resume normal operation.
