LATCHING RELAY PCB

Alert Control Technologies’ (A.C.T.) latching relay interface PC board is ideal for signal switching in robotics, alarm systems, industrial automation, monitoring, and communication systems. This design is tailored for use in solar powered installations, but readily lends itself to many applications using 12VDC power. 5VDC and 24VDC versions are also available. Mounts to standard Augat 3” Snap Track, which can be adapted to a variety of mounting options. Contact A.C.T. for special application assistance.

• Implements a diode protected magnetically latched relay for switching purposes
• Equipped with pulse sensitive inputs
• Extremely low power consumption. Uses power only while changing states in pulsed input applications
• Provides a reliable, electrically isolated interface between systems when a latched dry contact output is desired.

Applying 12VDC (pulse or continuous) to the “-“ and “S” terminals on the input side generates closed contacts between “S1” and “C1”, as well as between “S2” and “C2”.
Applying 12VDC (pulse or continuous) to the “-“ and “R” terminals on the input side generates closed contacts between “R1” and “C1”, as well as between “R2” and “C2”.

• Either event causes the outputs to “latch” in that state until an opposite input is applied.
• Dual form C outputs allow for normally open or normally closed operation.
• Dual relay coils use the same polarity whether setting or resetting the circuit.
• No operating power is required unless output is being toggled.
